2018 China Collegiate Computing Contest —— WeChat Mini Program Application Development Contest

This contest is jointly sponsored by the Teaching Guiding Committee of Computer Specialty in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Guiding Committee of Software Engineering Specialty in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Steering Committee of Computer Curriculum in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the National Institute of Computer Education in Colleges and Universities and Tencent WeChat Business Group. It is hosted by Tsinghua University and is based on innovative application development and design competition of Tencent WeChat mini program platform. It aims to improve students' ability to design and develop Web applications through competitions, especially their ability to use the development technology of WeChat ecological mini program platform to create and practice, thus promoting learning through competitions, promoting teaching through competitions, and promoting application through competitions. In this way, the talents cultivation and the industry-college-institute cooperation of the WeChat ecological system.



On July 18, the qualification trials for the contest in colleges and universities were all completed. Based on the on-site defense of the finals in each contest area and the horizontal evaluation of the works of the national finals candidate teams by the contest evaluation experts, 30 participating teams were born and successfully advanced to final. Next, they will gather in Guangzhou to participate in a three-day pre-contest training camp to prepare for the national final on August 10.



This contest gives developers in colleges and universities a key. These young developers open the door to the new world with their own hands. It is not only a new world of developing capabilities, but also a gateway to career vision. For these young developers, this contest may be their first time to develop mini program. Next, they may dabble in more fields to widen the application scenes of mini programs and highlight the value of mini programs.
